When you contact us to find out about our counselling services we will collect contact information and the information we need to be able to establish whether we are able to help. This information is kept in strict confidence within the centre and is not shared with anyone unless:
a) you give us express permission to do so, or
b) we have a legal obligation to do so.
If you do not attend a clinical appointment with us, this being either an assessment or a counselling session, the information we have collected will be kept for 12 months.
If you do engage in a clinical appointment with us we maintain your clinical records for 7 years from the date of your last contact with us.
Under the GDPR legislation effective from 25 May 2018 you are entitled to have access to the information we maintain about you and if you wish to do this we ask that you make an email request to: email@example.com or telephone request via 01892 548750.
